About Byron:

Byron leads corporate responsibility and ESG at Organon, a new pharma company focused on the health of women.

Prior to joining Organon in 2021, Byron led global ESG communications at Teva Pharmaceuticals and ESG for Teva USA. He also was at the helm of the healthcare practice at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), a global business network and consultancy. Here he provided guidance to over 25 companies within the biopharmaceutical and medical device sectors on their ESG and sustainability strategies.

Earlier in his career Byron was pivotal in managing and developing global health partnerships at Johnson & Johnson, actively engaging stakeholders across various health concerns such as NCDs, HIV/AIDS, maternal and child health, and digital health initiatives. His global health journey began at an HIV/AIDS NGO in South Africa, mothers2mothers International.

Earlier in his career, Byron refined his skills in healthcare management as a consultant at Rabin Martin in New York City.

He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from Princeton University.
