We undertook a year of leadership coaching with the primary focus on emotional intelligence - awarness of self and awareness of others. Through coaching I learned how to orient myself for the other leaders in the room, to adapt to their mindset or learning style. It was so impactful that I then had Shannon coach two of my direct reports and facilitate two team training workshops on Emotional Intelligence.

Shannon is one of those rare individuals who come along who influence how personal leadership is developed while discovering the authentic reasons why anyone should choose to be a leader in place of being a follower. Sustainability is about leading change management and while I am no longer working on sustainability programs, key messages from her teachings in sustainability leadership still resonate.
