In moving back to the US Peggy was looking to consider her options in sustainability. She worked with Shannon on understanding her value and dusting off her LinkedIn profile – which ironically helped her land her dream job at the platform.

The challenge:

Having lived in Europe for 12 years, I knew I was going to be returning to the US in 2015/16. I needed to rebuild my network and start looking for work there in sustainability.

The solution:

I did some of Shannon’s free online resources, and then hired her as a consultant. What she helped me do was to identify realistic career opportunities. What were they requiring in terms of skills and knowledge? What were the gaps that I needed to address and having tackled those, go after the that dream job One of the things she also helped me do was refresh and build my LinkedIn profile. And then fortunately, I ended up at LinkedIn.

The result:

Now in my dream job at LinkedIn I continually try to find ways to connect people to Shannon if they're at a moment where they're doing a career pivot, or at the beginning of their journey and trying to figure things out. I’m a huge fan.
