About Tim Mohin:

Tim is a member of Boston Consulting Group's Climate & Sustainability and Social Impact practice. He is a globally recognized sustainability/ESG executive with 40 years of experience in sustainability, spanning government, industry and non-profits.

Tim is the former CEO of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and was a senior sustainability leader with Intel, Apple, and AMD. He also led development of key environmental policies—including the Clean Air Act—working in the Environmental Protection Agency and the US Senate. Just prior to joining BCG, Tim was Chief Sustainability Officer of carbon accounting software startup Persefoni. He was Founder and Chairman of the Responsible Business Alliance.

Tim is the author of the book Changing Business from the Inside Out and writes a weekly ESG and Climate News report and is a frequent speaker on sustainable business.

He is often listed as a top sustainability influencer and is one of LinkedIn Top 15 Voices in the Green Economy. In addition to his work with the firm, Tim lectures on sustainable business at Duke, Harvard, and University of Michigan.
