Shannon is an ICF-PCC certified executive coach and talent strategist with over 20 years as a trusted advisor to evolving change leaders from Managers to CEOs. Over 15 years ago she founded Walk of Life Coaching, the first international career development and talent advisory business focused on ESG, sustainability, impact investing, diversity & inclusion and corporate responsibility.
Shannon has mentored and trained 1,700+ impact leaders over 5,000Â hours to maximize their personal brands to advance their impact careers. She chose career and executive coaching to combine her diverse experience as a hiring manager, a business coach and an ESG consultant for Adobe, Deloitte, BlackRock, and WWF, after having started her career 20 years ago in recruiting.
As a certified Leadership Circle Profile and Emotional Intelligence meta coach, Shannon has been featured in the Guardian, FastCompany, Forbes, Huffington Post, Recruiter.com, Marie Claire, and Real Leaders. She speaks regularly at international conferences including Kering, Trellis, Hitachi, Sustainable Brands, BSR and Net Impact.
She also published her first book with Kogan Page, “Good Work: How to Build a Career that Makes a Difference in the World”.
In addition to her individual coaching work, Shannon has delivered custom leadership programs for global organizations, helping teams align values with business goals for sustainable growth. She partners with purpose-driven companies to foster cultures of resilience and innovation. Her coaching blends neuroscience-based tools with ESG sector insight, supporting leaders through pivots, career transitions and growth. Beyond coaching, Shannon contributes thought leadership on talent strategy, resilience and the future of ESG work. Shannon holds an MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School in International Management and a BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Originally from Washington DC and San Francisco, Shannon speaks a bit of Italian, French and Spanish and believes we can all "design our lives". She has spent 25 years living in Patagonia Chile, Sicily Italy, Switzerland, France, and the UK. She currently is based between Atlanta, Georgia and Biella, Italy.
